These two myths go hand in hand. As I’ve already mentioned, some people have a favorite number that they always bet on. Sometimes, it’s your birthday, but it can also be your child’s or your wife’s birthday. Overall, some people believe that the Universe has a plan for them and that their favorite number somehow guards them throughout life. It’s their personal four-leaf clover. There should be no judgment here, we all go through life hoping for some good luck and trying to dodge bad luck. So if having a favorite number makes you feel at ease, I say you go with it. Just don’t trust it too much, you wouldn’t want to lose a lot of money. That child of yours might be really angry to find out all the college funds are somehow missing.
