Ever since Roulette became a must-have game in all of the casinos, there were a lot of gamblers who tried to figure out any possible patterns behind it. Throughout time, a lot of professional players came up with different strategies they were convinced could help them win.
Are There Actual Winning Strategies?
The answer is — Not really. Although people invented plenty of them and most of them follow logical and mathematical patterns, the roulette system simply doesn’t work that way. There is no way for you to increase your chances of winning by using roulette strategies. The same goes for online casinos — Virtual Roulettes are based on an algorithm called the RNG, which is short for Random Number Generator. This algorithm ensures safe play and continually produces random numbers behind the game interface.
Playing roulette is very entertaining, but sometimes it can get stale. Even though Roulette strategies don’t work, you can always use them for the sake of fun. It can spice up your gambling experience and bring that missing spark back.
How Many Strategies Are There?
A lot. People came up with all kinds of methods just to try and beat Roulette. Betting strategies don’t really apply to games of chance, and that’s what Roulette is. Here are a couple of strategies that some players like to use from time to time;
- The Martingale Strategy
- D’Alembert Strategy
- The Grand Martingale Strategy
- The Fibonacci
The Martingale
With this strategy, you are supposed to double your bet each time you lose. Let’s say you bet $5 and you lose. It means that you need to bet $10 and so on. Once you win, you can go back to your starting bet, which was $5. This method claims that it can save your money, but this is not entirely true. To even use the Martingale strategy you need to invest a lot and be ready to lose a lot
The D’Alembert
Jean d’Alembert claimed that if you want to trick the roulette into giving you more money, you need to increase your betting number by one whenever you win, and then decrease it by one each time you lose. This method also goes by the name ‘Gambler’s Fallacy’ so I wouldn’t really trust it if I were you. You probably won’t any money by constantly increasing your bets each time you win. At one point it will all go away.
The Grand Martingale
This is definitely a gambling method I would advise you against unless you have seriously deep pockets. Essentially, it’s the same as The Martingale strategy; only you don’t double your bet after each loss, you triple it. It is quite radical and very risky, so approach it with caution.
The Fibonacci
Leonardo Pisano, the best mathematician of the middle ages, developed this strategy. According to it, every 3rd numbers in sequence is the result of the previous two. For example; if the first two numbers were 5 and 3, the ball should land on 8. This theory doesn’t make a lot of sense, and it is based on sheer probability. Feel free to try it, but make sure you don’t invest a lot of money.
You’re the New Master of Strategy
Now that you know some of the most popular Roulette strategies you can put them to a test. I can guarantee they won’t work, but your casino experience can only be funnier. Remember to always go for the European Roulette, your odds of winning are much higher with it. Best of luck! time, many professional players came up with different strategies which they were convinced could help them win.
